The truth about standby power
We’re pleased to have earned HomeShow Radio host Tom Tynan’s endorsement for standby power. Last week, our Yvonne Fish appeared on a video for the show and participated in an interview on Sunday’s Early Edition show.
“There are so many misconceptions about standby power,” says Yvonne. “We’re happy to have someone of Tom’s credibility not just telling his listeners about us, but about standby power in general.”

Power outages happen more often than you think. Freezes, thunderstorms, or even a windy day will leave you standing powerless in the dark. Unless you have back-up.

We’re all so dependent upon electricity. I mean, usually when your power does go out, the first thing that you usually do is walk into a room and hit the light switch. Nothing happens.

Everybody should have a generator. With our Power Grid Suite, you don’t have to have a disaster to need a generator.

Consumers have a tendency on this product– it’s so relatively new, they don’t know the right questions to ask, and even if they do, how can they know if they’re getting the right answer? If you’re not going to buy from us, at least call us, make sure you’re getting the right information.

We’re talking about electricity, natural gas, an engine on the side of your home which is probably your largest investment. But most importantly, your most prized possessions on the inside of that house, it’s your family.

We had a customer yesterday. They called the office, Shirley took the call. This gentleman had bought a generator from another contractor. I suppose they had it installed, and when the power went out, nothing happened with his generator. Jim actually went out there to do a site inspection. When Jim raised the lid of the generator–

There was no guts inside the transfer switch. The guy just got paid up and left.

We went out and we installed a 36 kW on his home. It runs his entire home. He’s got a standby generator that he can count on. From a company standpoint, being able to help him– this is how we operate. You as a customer coming into our family, we want to make sure that you’re taken care of.

Satisfaction is having a happy client at the end of the day. I go home satisfied I’ve done a good job.

When the power goes out, your life goes on with a standby generator from Generator Power Systems.

For HomeShowradio.com, I’m Tom Tynan.
